Archaeology Day @ HHHC

  • Heart of the Hills Heritage Center 529 Water Street Kerrville, Texas, 78028 United States (map)

Discover Kerr County’s pre-historic past with activities and resources with Hill Country Archeological Association and the Texas Historical Commission. This free community event is part of Texas Archaeology Month, a month‑long celebration of history and heritage through archaeology organized annually by the Texas Historical Commission (THC) Texas Historical Commission. The event brings together the museum and our local archeological group to share archaeological knowledge, offer hands‑on activities, and highlight Texas’s diverse cultural past.

Join us for this fun-filled day on the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial campus, where Art in the Park is also happening sponsored by the City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department.

Both events are free and open to the public.
